This beautiful minuscule dates from Charlemagne's time in the late 8th
century and evolved into a hand that was both easy to learn as well as read.
Students will be introduced to this magnificent alphabet through an intense
one-day workshop. The Caroline minuscule is approximately 3 pen-widths high,
should you wish to rule out a couple of sheets before class. Some experience
with a broad-edged pen is helpful.
