Magical and Mysterious Creatures in Watercolor Lettering World
A workshop to explore the incorporation of animated elements in letters. Inspired by the wonderful universe of alebrijes, and using watercolor techniques, Veronica will lead us through creating a letter inspired by fragments of animals.

Round brush, middle size and small size for details

Veronica Cruz is a designer specializing in branding and visual communication. She expresses her artistic sensitivity and talent in graphic production to help companies and institutions to better communicate with their markets. This love for typography and calligraphy has lead her to continuously develop her own style on lettering and the art of graphics and drawing letters.
Driven and teaching courses and workshops since 2007 in the University of Costa Rica, all her research work is related to graphic identity, editorial, typographic, lettering and innovation. Always with the aim of helping designers, artists and people of all ages to develop their creative talent in these areas. Her workshops range from introductory practices, exercises and composition principles, to others focused on the development of techniques such as watercolor and mixed techniques or special thematic workshops. She teaches at the “Universidad Creativa” and the UCR in the Graphic Design programs developing projects with institutions, social companies and creating exhibitions.
Within the field of visual communication, she has developed projects of branding, editorial design, packaging, among others for Companies and Institutions in Costa Rica, México, Netherlands, and Brasil.
