Join us at the 2023 Holiday Fair!
The holiday season is approaching and we've got our beloved annual tradition, the Society of Scribes Holiday Fair coming up on Sunday, December 3!
Please join us for a day of calligraphy, letters and festive fun with our wonderful community. All are welcome—this isn't just a members only thing!—and we are excited to see you all, whether to reconnect or meet you for the first time.
Come watch demonstrations on various techniques and calligraphy hands, and join Barry Morentz who will be leading a Scriptorium on gilding. Capacity is limited to the Scriptorium, sign up to join one of the sessions here!
Paper and Ink Arts will be setting up shop for you to stock up on goodies and supplies. If you'd like to buy from their full website selection pre-orders are due by November 24th for pick-up at the fair.
Please note the location change from previous years. We're doing something a little different and hosting it at SVA where we do our classes. We will have several rooms doing different activities, and play tables where you can try out different products!
